छत्तीसगढ़ी खुरमी | Chhattisgarhi Khurmi|Chhattisgarhi Sweet Dish - Khurmi |Teej- Pola Special Sweet|

Ingredients for Khurmi



  • Wheat Flour - 1 Cup (200 gram)
  • Semolina - 1/4 Cup (50 Gram)
  • Dry Coconut - 1/2 Cup 
  • Peanuts - 1/2 Cup (Roughly Crushed)
  • Jaggery - 1/2 Cup (70 Gram)
  • Ghee - 2 Spoon 
  • Sesame Seed - 1/2 Spoon
  • Water- 1/2 Cup  
  • Oil for fry 


Dough Preparation



  • For Dough kneading - Need to Dissolve Jaggery in water
  • Place Jaggery in Bowl
  • Add 1/2 cup water and dissolve the jaggery in water
  • Jaggary dissolved now - Jaggery water is ready
  • Place wheat flour in Big Thali
  • Add Semolina
  • Add Peanuts
  • Add Chopped dry Coconnut
  • Add Sesame Seed
  • Add Ghee
  • Mix..Mix..Mix
  • All Ingredients are mixed well
  • Add Jaggery water little little & make hard dough
  • Dough is ready 
  • Keep it for rest approx 15 min 
  • After 15 min - Dough is set to make khurmi



Making & frying Khurmi



  • Take small lumps & give the Khurmi shape
  • Prepare another Khurmi in same manner
  • Khurmi are ready - Lets fry these
  • Oil should be medium warm for fry
  • Place Khurmi in warm Oil
  • Flip both side of Khurmi & fry till golden brown
  • Avoid to fry in high flame else it will be redish outside & not cooked inside
  • Khurmis are fried Golden brown 
  • Take them out in a plate
  • Ready to serve

  • Khurmies are ready for serve
